Abbey Cooking with Her Cousins

Eric and the girls were in Orem for Spring Break (April 2-9), so Abbey did some cooking with her cousins. This picture shows Abbey with the marshmallow flower that she made. (Marshmallow flowers are our family favorite):


Here Abbey is getting ready to eat a "Sandwich on a Stick" that she made for lunch:


Abbey and her cousins June, David, and Jeniel made a bunny cake. In this picture the kids each take a turn frosting the cake:


Abbey got to frost the bunny's face:


The kids were happy with their bunny cake. They waited patiently while Grandma Bev took a picture before they ate it:


On another day, Abbey and her cousins had peanut butter and jelly "flowers" for lunch:


Abbey also enjoyed playing with her cousin June:


And Ava demonstrated that she is reaching the "terrible twos":


Soon Ava will also be old enough to cook and play with her cousins:

Balloon Launch for Sheri's Birthday

Although Sheri's birthday was in March, all of her family gathered on April 4th to celebrate her birthday with a balloon launch:

Abbey placed some pretty pansies on her Mom's grave:

The site looked beautiful:

Ava loved being outside:

Abbey chose a big pink balloon:

And Ava had a pink balloon too:

First we sang Happy Birthday, then all the family launched their balloons:

The balloons floated high into the air:

We watched the balloons for a long time:

It was a special day.
