Abbey and Ava in St. George (July 26-29, 2010)

While Monica (who provides loving child care for Abbey and Ava) was on vacation, Eric and the girls went to St. George with Scott and Bev.

Grandma Bev and Abbey did lots of cooking. This picture shows Abbey stirring the crust for a fruit pizza:

Abbey decorated her "pizza" with strawberries, mandarines, bananas, grapes, and kiwi:

Here is her finished fruit pizza:

Abbey and Grandma Bev also made homemade ice cream in a baggie and Italian bread sticks. Abbey was proud of what she made and everyone enjoyed eating it:

Ava also enjoyed food. Her favorites were the plastic eggplant:

And the real pears and yogurt:

She also played with "Sullie," the doll who lives in St. George:

Abbey also played with Sullie and the stuffed animals:

She watched TV:

and played with Ava:

Eric and Grandpa Scott hiked the "Subway" in Zion National Park.

and worked/played on their computers:

Grandma Bev did lots of sewing:

We loved our time in St. George!

The fruit pizza that Abbey made was tasty! Thanks again for watching the girls while I “worked”.

It was a great trip to St. George. I can't wait until the next time we go with the Kleins and do another adventure hike in Zion National Park.

Although the weather was so much cooler and nicer in Idaho, I might have exchanged the trip to spend time with the girls in SG. Looks like you had a ton fo fun.
