The Missoula Riverbank Run last Saturday marked the official beginning of the running season for the Klein family. We went into the race ready to kick some serious butt and would have done so if all the members of the family had cooperated. Ava decided she was tired halfway through the 10k and instead of going to sleep was more interested in making the run miserable for everyone else. After multiple stops trying to get her to stop crying the snow started to come down fast so we ran the rest of the race as fast as we could with Ava crying the whole way. I’m expecting to get my father of the year award any day now.
Abbey was going to run a 1-mile fun run afterwards but we were all ready to go home. We decided she will have to do one when it isn’t snowing.
Later on Saturday we played outside with bubbles. The wind was blowing and the bubbles were going high in the sky. Abbey said to me, “I’m sending bubbles up to my mom”. At first I was confused and then I
looked up and saw them floating up towards heaven.

We hope you liked the bubbles Sheri! We will try to send some more for Mother’s Day!

Well HELLO I do not see Mr. Binky anywhere near her. So of course no sleeping. Congrats on finishing the race. May this Spring/Summer bring you many more in UTAH :D
I hereby present you with the Father of the Year award.
Thanks! Don’t I at least get a cheesy certificate?
I can make you a cheesy certificate if you want. You deserve a very nice certificate. BTW, what happened to that little laid-back sweet baby of yours?
Anyway, congratulations on starting the running season. Can't wait to run with you and crying Ava!
Congrats on getting your butt out there! I struggle to run with my kids and mostly use it as an excuse to get out of it. So good for you!
I love the video of Abbey. She's getting so grown up!
